Kingsbarns Distillery, just a 20-minute drive from Hawkswood, is set within a beautifully restored 18th-century farm steading in the East Neuk of Fife.
Its award-winning single malt is produced using barley grown within sight of the distillery, and visitors can enjoy guided tours, tastings and a café overlooking the fields.
Eden Mill, near Guardbridge, was Scotland’s first single-site distillery to produce beer, gin and whisky together.
Its modern visitor centre offers tastings and tours that showcase this unusual approach to distilling.
Lindores Abbey Distillery sits on the site of the earliest known written record of Scotch whisky, dating back to 1494.
