Hawkswood House offers the short game area for practising different lies and distances. It has 2 bunkers, 5 pitching mats and 6 holes.

You can practise your golf game on an area which was designed by professionals with experience of building the best of Scotland’s golf courses. The Roundel also has 2 bunkers, 3 pitching mats and 9 holes.

If you would like to develop your skills further and have professional advice from an experienced golf player, we can arrange practical courses with Peter Whiteford, the teaching golf professional at Hawkswood Country Estate.

Peter is a golf professional who is a former European Tour player and has coached players at all levels.

Working on your short game, practising on the driving range or learning to conquer the infamous St Andrews bunkers, Peter will be more than happy to teach you his approach to the game.
